Birth Color Blanket Crochet Pattern and Tutorial

I have always loved birth month flowers, and birthstones, and unique ways to add more meanings to Items. I wanted to create a pattern that people could use as a guidance for when they are creating baby blankets. I was going to have this focused on the baby's birth month, but then remembered how unpredictable babies can be, and that even If they have a due date, they rarely stick to It (kinda rude, I know). However, the parents birth month Is already known, so the Idea of this blanket Is that you take both parents birth month, select which color from that month (associated with that month's birth stone) and then select complimentary colors to create a custom baby birth blanket. This pattern has everything you need to know about how to create the blanket (in various sizes) as well as will be updated anytime I have a new baby to make a blanket for. So whether you want to go off of the parents birth colors, all 4 grandparents birth colors, or months that are significant to you (anniversary, wedding etc.) this pattern will guide you during your project!
